Temporary and Permanent Fillers

There are two primary groups of dermal fillers, synthetic and natural dermal fillers. The effects are known to last from 6 months to 2 years for semi-permanent fillers while the results of permanent fillers are visible for up to five years.

For obtaining volume, denser fillers are required, such as Voluma or Restylane which are known as the best lip filler types.

Whereas for only superficial defects or small enhancement, lighter molecules are applied. However, for prolonged effects, permanent fillers can also be used.
